You are now looking at Version Two of More Than Good Hooks [dot] com! As you can see from the layout, this is quite an overhaul from our previous one which was very simple and a tad all over the place. We’re excited for the change and hope you are, too.

Firstly, we would like to give a massive shoutout to Julia Zave for allowing us to use the awesome photo she took which now serves as our sidebar header image. The original image had the exact vibe we were after for the site, so we thank you for that!

Secondly, the announcement will be postponed until further notice due to circumstances beyond our control but we will inform you of it eventually.

The new MTGH also sees some new features being added to the site, find out more and read all about it in this blog entry.

There have been several updates since you last heard from us and here’s what’s new on MTGH (bear in mind we still have more to add in time to come):

Apologies for the brief absence, two shows in 3 days in two countries certainly did us in. All shall resume as it were shortly, we’re back to working on the final touches of the new layout and uploading the recently accumulated content of the shows over the past couple of days.

In any case, we would first and foremost like to thank Karen at CeaseFire Records and Shaz of Midas Promotions for their support and assistance once again.

All new updates (photos, videos & reviews) will be posted when we relaunch the site, hopefully over the next couple of weeks so be sure to check back often!

It’s almost that time where we will launch Version 2 of More Than Good Hooks and we will be switching hosts shortly. Should you experience any interruption and problems accessing the site in the following hours/days, we apologize in advance.

Our very first street team has just been launched in conjunction with Midas Promotions for Fall Out Boy’s concert at the Indoor Stadium in Singapore next month. Places are limited and hardworking teamers will be rewarded so if you want in, start sending in those applications now!

You may or may not notice this but we have finally added some of our ticket stub scans of shows we’ve attended in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia which you may view here. Got some that are not up in the gallery? Why not send them our way? Contact us via the usual methods and we shall add & credit you for them.

So what exactly have we been up to? Planning, attending to our other web projects and just keeping the site up to date. General maintenance, if you will.

That said, here’s what you can look forward to in the coming days/weeks:

• Interview with one of the bands featured in our list of recommendations

We may also put up the Panic videos for download sometime, but we ain’t promising anything just yet.
