If you were hoping there would be another installment to attend in 2010, you are likely to be disappointed by this piece of news. Following the fiasco surrounding the cancelled N.E.R.D concert in Jakarta post-Sunburst last month, Malaysia’s New Straits Times published an article just recently concerning the festival organizer’s current status.

 Fans of this year’s inaugural Sunburst Music Festival in Malaysia will be pleased to know it will return in 2009. Festival director Razman Razali and his team at Pineapple Concerts would like to know which bands and artists you hope to see on next year’s line up so here’s your chance to put your suggestions forward on their Facebook group. Partake in the 2009 line up discussion and if you’re a Nine Inch Nails fan, make yourself heard – the band is keen on playing at Sunburst but there is the need to gauge the local demand before proceeding.
