As soon as you walk into the venue, you can already hear music pumping through the speakers. DJ Face was on the decks getting the crowd ready before the other acts took the stage. He also kept the crowd moving around in between performances.

First up was Project Elementz. They’re a local dance crew and they performed a short routine consisting of lifts, flips, and spins. They really got the crowd to dance, and were a really great start to the night.

Atilia

Continuing with the local act, we next had Atilia. She came out singing some of her own songs as well as some covers, including one from the legendary Mary J. Blige. As far as local acts go, Atilia is definitely one to look out for. She managed to interact with the crowd as well as keep their attention even though most of them were waiting to see other artists further down the lineup.

K-Town Clan

K-Town Clan was the next performer and they really brought the audience to life. With their hip-hop/krunk style of music, they definitely got the crowd to dance around and jumping. They were the most upbeat of all the performances so far and they really kept their energy high all throughout their set and that transferred over to the crowd and by the end, they had the crowd buzzing for more music.

U-Kiss

By this time, the crowd were almost deafening because up next were none other than K-pop boyband, U-Kiss! As soon as the music started and the boys walked on stage, the sound of the crowd was insane. Not sure I could even here myself think for the next 30 minutes! U-Kiss performed a handful of their hits, like “0330” and “Standing Still” as well as short snippets of some solo and duets that some of the members were working on. By the end of the performance, the crowd was literally begging for more from the boys and was devastated to see them walk off the stage.

For the next hour, Stylo @Live treated the crowd to a special performance. The show consisted of dances as well as various fashion shows featuring famous local designers. Not sure how the crowd felt about it because halfway through the performance, it started to rain cats and dogs and you could see people running for cover and away from the rain. Luckily it stopped after around 10 minutes and the show still continued despite the change in weather.

Demi Lovato

Last but certainly not least, it was time for the main headliner of the night, Demi Lovato. Right off the bat, you can tell that she really sounds amazing live and that she puts a lot of emotion into her performances. Her set was a great mix of upbeat, fast songs, and some slow ballads. She sang most of her hits including her newest song “Heart Attack” as well as some old fan favorites that I think the crowd enjoyed immensely.

Demi Lovato

Highlight of her performance was when she sang the emotionally heavy “Skyscraper”. Before the song, Demi talked about her struggles with life and her stint in rehab as well as encouraging anyone in the audience who are struggling to seek help. It showed just how serious she takes her role as an idol to so many young people out there and it was all incredibly moving. Her set did end on a happy note with the song “Give Your Heart A Break” and all in all it put a very satisfying end to a great set as well as the night.
