Java Rockin'land 2009

A new festival in Jakarta seems to be making its first appearance this year and from all that we’ve heard, it seems rather promising and looks set to be the next big thing. There have been no confirmed acts as of yet, but their wishlist alone is set to please many. Previously named the Java Soundtastic Festival then Java Rockaddiction, it is now known as Java Rockin’land and the details are as follows:

Update, 10/07: Several international artists have been confirmed, check out the line up for now.

Update, 24/06: Ticket prices have been added and they are on sale now!

Dates: 7th, 8th & 9th August 2009 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Venue: Pantai Carnaval, Ancol
Prices: Daily Pass for Friday, 7th August – Rp. 200.000 (normal) & Rp. 90.000 (online, until 30th June 2009)
Daily Pass for Saturday, 8th August – Rp. 200.000 (normal) & Rp. 90.000 (online, until 30th June 2009)
Daily Pass for Sunday, 9th August – Rp. 200.000 (normal) & Rp. 90.000 (online, until 30th June 2009)
3 Day Pass – Rp. 500.000 (normal), & Rp. 210.000 (online, until 30th June 2009)
Tickets: On sale now via MonsterTicket
Line up (confirmed): Secondhand Serenade (8th August), Melee (7th August), Mr. Big (8th August), Mew (9th August), Renaissance Boulevard, Vertical Horizon (7th August), Third Eye Blind (9th August), Motherjane, Joujouka – more to be announced!

Sorry another comment but I saw on their website it says they want Deftones to be part of the lineup? Really? With Chi Cheng still in a semi-unconscious state, do they really think Deftones gonna fly all the way to Indonesia? Good luck to them then, lol.
