UPDATE (03/09): Unfortunately, the gig has been postponed to a later date due to frontman Tyson Ritter’s recent injury. More information on when the show will be replaced when the info is released, so stay tuned.

The boys will return to our shores in just a couple of months, so if you missed them at the recent MTV World Stage event at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach, here’s your chance to catch them live. Concert details are as follows:

Date: 31st October 2009 (Saturday) [previously 10th October 2009 (Saturday)]
Venue: Car Park A of Bukit Jalil National Outdoor Stadium (previously Central Park Avenue, 1 Utama, Bandar Utama)
Time: 6pm onwards
Support bands: Disagree, One Buck Short & Pop Shuvit
Tickets: Starting 12th August to 26th September 2009, DiGi postpaid and prepaid customers are able to redeem one (1) ticket by subscribing to Unlimited Music (RM5 per month, first 30 days free).

Subscribe to Unlimited Music to be entitled for one (1) free ticket.

You will receive an SMS to confirm your ticket within 14 days upon joining DiGi Music™.

To confirm, just reply AAR YES to 2000 after receiving the above SMS.

After you have confirmed the reservation, you are required to collect the Tickets at locations specified by DiGi in DiGi’s website.

Concert tickets are given away by subscription on first-come-first-serve basis while stocks last. You must be physically present at the redemption counter with your phone as prizes will not be couriered.

SMS reservation will be sent no later than 27th September. You can redeem your tickets at:

1st Floor Sunway Pyramid (near the escalator heading up to TGV cinema)
4th Floor 1 Utama New Wing (at the walkway from the carpark to GSC cinema)

Alternatively, download the “What I’ll Do For Music” application for Facebook and Friendster, and get your friends to subscribe to Unlimited Music in order to win concert tickets and exclusive The-All American Rejects merchandise. Find out more about that at http://digimusic.com.my/live/.

DiGi has made it even easier for you to redeem tickets to the concert, take note:

1. Head on down to the DiGi Music kiosks located in 1U, Sunway Pyramid or Sungei Wang
2. Provide your mobile number to the promoters on-site (for current subscribers of Unlimited Music) OR just activate Unlimited Music on-the-spot (for non-subscribers of Unlimited Music)

Unfortunately, at the moment it doesn’t seem like tickets will also be sold to the public other than obtaining them through DiGi. If that were to change however, we will be sure to post about it here and through our Facebook/Twitter so keep checking back for updates

Hi Farah,

Tickets are only available through subscription of DiGi Music and should still be available until specified by DiGi that they have been fully redeemed.

Im a really big fan of all american rejects. so so so crazy about them. so can i ask you something? do all of the subscriber WILL get their hands on the tickets? i mean, i’ve just subscribe it.
i went to MTV world stage. i got the mosh pitt. i work my ass off to get those mosh pitts! i really dont want to miss this. it will be a disaster to my life. other than that, on the 13 of october will be my birthday, a ticket will be the most amazing gift for my birthday present. and if i get the meet and greet passes, i will be crying. i really love tyson ritter. sorry, im just too excited to see them again. i hope to see them again. DEANNA: As long as you are a DiGi customer, subscribe to DiGi’s Unlimited Music and receive the SMS confirmation then you’re good to go. Just redeem the ticket at any of the two counters listed.

There are 10K tickets that are expected to be redeemed.

SW: You’re welcome, hope you’ll receive it soon! It may just be congestion as well with many people subscribing at any given time =X

WOLF: 1 ticket is good for one person only. If your friends want to attend the concert, they must have their own ticket as well.

You can use the Facebook/Friendster application they created to get more tickets that way, check http://digimusic.com.my/live/ for more information on that.

SW: Have you tried bringing your phone to the designated booths and furnish them with your number?

KAT: Yep, unfortunately tickets aren’t sold through the regular outlets. It’ll cost RM8.50 for a DiGi SIM card (for non-users) and a subscription to DiGi’s Unlimited Music (RM5 per month, first 30 days free).

Tickets can be gotten by buying their album from Rock Corner…at least that’s how I got mine from Rock Corner, KLCC~ hope that helps

Yes you may. Just purchase the band’s latest album at Rock Corner and you will receive a ticket. Purchase both WTWCD and Move Along CDs and you will get two.

Be informed that you are entitled to the ticket(s) only if you buy the Malaysian edition albums which are cheaper than the US version (RM29.90 as opposed to RM40+ usually).

As far as we know, they are still available. If it’s completely sold out, DiGi would most likely issue a notice of sorts to inform the public.

You can get them by purchasing the band’s album at Rock Corner if you’re not a DiGi customer. Info is in the news post above.

Might just be similar but not as large as the MWS one was. There are VIP tickets for this show and ticket holders could be in a sectioned off area different from the others.
