And thus the year comes to an end, with 2011 in sight. We reckon 2010 definitely exceeded expectations, and although it could have been better at times, we certainly aren’t complaining!

The headlines made regarding concerts staged in Malaysia (think Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, Michael Learns To Rock, Arthur’s Day etc) were also brought up, some as examples. Big names and top players in the industry regionally also share their experiences and views in these write ups, providing an insight to the challenges in this business. On the whole, this makes for an interesting read.

PINEAPPLE CONCERTS

If you were hoping there would be another installment to attend in 2010, you are likely to be disappointed by this piece of news.

Following the fiasco surrounding the cancelled N.E.R.D concert in Jakarta post-Sunburst last month, Malaysia’s New Straits Times published an article just recently concerning the festival organizer’s current status.

On behalf of the other staff, we’d like to wish you a Happy New Year and an excellent 2009. Many thanks for visiting and supporting the site (you know who you are), we hope to see you in the new year.
