| Jakarta International Java Soulnation Festival 2009 |
Last year’s saw artists such as Akon, Ashanti and Blackstreet amongst those entertaining R&B, hip hop, rap and soul fans in Jakarta and if you enjoyed yourself then, be prepared for 2009′s! This year’s is also set to be spread out over two days in late October and although it is still awhile away, the organizers are wasting no time – tickets are on sale and they have a wishlist of artists for the line up which is bound to get some of you excited. The Academy Is… has very recently released their new single About A Girl from their upcoming 3rd album, Fast Times at Barrington High. You can listen to it on their official MySpace profile. Also, Gym Class Heroes’ new video for their single Peace Sign/Index Down from their upcoming 4th album, The Quilt, has been released.
