Singapore’s OCBC Titanium Presents Timbre Rock & Roots returns for its third year this March. The first line up announcement features legendary soul & funk superband Earth, Wind & Fire, the greatest rocksteady two-tone ska band of all times The Specials, multiple Grammy award winner Keb Mo and the return of the explosive Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and music legend Buddy Guy as performers. Japanese American guitarist and singer-songwriter Kina Grannis is bringing her ‘In Your Arms’ tour to Asia and will perform in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore this March. Grannis’ video “Message From Your Heart” won the Doritios Crash the Super Bowl contest, subsequently landing herself a contract with Interscope Records. Concert details as follows:

Japanese rock outfit L’Arc en Ciel will perform in Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia on their upcoming 20th Anniversary world tour in March, April, and May. The group’s 12th studio album titled Butterfly is scheduled for release in early February. Concert details as follows:

Las Vegas rock outfit The Cab will perform in Singapore this March, after their run on Australia’s Soundwave Festival. The quintet released their sophomore record titled Symphony Soldier last August and are touring in support of the new record. Concert details as follows:

Prior to their concert in the Philippines with Set Your Goals in June, the New York band will also play headlining shows in Singapore in April. WATIC as they are fondly known by fans, released their debut record via Hopeless Records titled Best Intentions last October. Concert details are as follows:

Canadian pop punk outfit Simple Plan were in Singapore recently for a concert on their ‘Get Your Heart On! Tour’ in Asia to promote their new record. The long wait since their last performance at 2008′s SINGfest was forgiven as soon as they took the stage, reassuring fans they still had it in them to put on an energetic and fun-filled live show. Singapore’s year of concerts started off strong with New York band Scissor Sisters being the first international act to play in the country on 9th January at Fort Gate, Fort Canning Park.
