| Phoenix Live In Indonesia |
One of the most talked about bands, the alt rock French quartet named Phoenix is set to perform in Jakarta this August to promote their latest album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. It is their current sole SEA tour date prior to their Australian tour and festival stints in Japan and Europe. They were one of the more recent additions in our list of bands in the Rumours page and we couldn’t be more pleased for our fellow neighbours! No news as of yet on whether there will be more SEA dates scheduled for this tour, but we will keep you posted. Details of their Indonesian concert is as follows:

| Mae Live In Bandung, Indonesia (Rescheduled) |
Last September we posted about the band’s show in January which was unfortunately canceled at the last minute due to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that occurred earlier in the year. Well here’s the good news for fans that have been waiting patiently – the band is supposedly rescheduling the concert and here are the new details:

Mike Stroud and Evan Mast, the duo better known as the electronic outfit Ratatat from NYC will be performing their inaugural shows in Southeast Asia this May. | Condemned Indonesian Tour, June 2009 |
Belfast’s metal outfit Condemned will be performing several shows in Indonesia this June dubbed as the Indogrindnesia Tour 09. The tour originally included Bangkok on the list of tour dates which apparently was then moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. However, the only confirmed shows have been the Indonesian dates and the details are as follows:

| Jakarta International Java Soulnation Festival 2009 |
Last year’s saw artists such as Akon, Ashanti and Blackstreet amongst those entertaining R&B, hip hop, rap and soul fans in Jakarta and if you enjoyed yourself then, be prepared for 2009′s! This year’s is also set to be spread out over two days in late October and although it is still awhile away, the organizers are wasting no time – tickets are on sale and they have a wishlist of artists for the line up which is bound to get some of you excited.
