To cap off a busy January, Singapore had every reason to celebrate on the 30th – a triple bill featuring three of the hottest indie rock outfits one night. Fresh off their performances on Australia’s renowned Big Day Out festival earlier in the month, Band Of Horses, Vampire Weekend, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs had performed full sets for fans at Fort Canning Park that night. Concert Photos & Review: Laneway Festival Singapore 2013
Now in its third year, the festival has steadily gained momentum and is hailed as one of the “must-see” annual festivals in the region. The 2013 line up garnered much fanfare when it was announced last November, when it included three exclusive to Laneway Singapore acts – Kimbra, Tame Impala, and Gotye. Housed in new venue, this year saw the festival being held at The Meadow at scenic Gardens By The Bay, with music fans from all over Southeast Asia making their way to Singapore for the 12-hour event.
