Sheffield’s instrumental post-rock band 65daysofstatic returned to Southeast Asia and played their only concert in the region in Malaysia last Tuesday. It has been a long time coming for fans, as the band’s first show in KL slated for March 2010 had been cancelled. Supporting the group was KL’s Deepset, and this combination made for a great first concert for Malaysia in 2013. Check out our review in the link below. In November, Icelandic favourites Sigur Rós made their way to Southeast Asia for their first shows in the region. Singapore had the honour of being the country they had their first show at, followed by Malaysia just two days after. The group were touring in support of Valtari, which was released earlier in the year. A fascinating show to say the least, the concert had such an ethereal feel, and conjured many emotions amongst the fans. Check out our review in the link below.
