This is bound to delight concert goers to a certain degree – a free outdoor two day music festival in conjunction with the F1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix will be held this April with both local and international artists and bands featured on the line up. Event details is as follows:

This May, expect a blend of local and international acts at the upcoming Bangkok Summer Festival. Californian band Hoobastank will be returning to Southeast Asia for their performance at this event, no other dates in the region has been scheduled/confirmed thus far. Festival details as follows:

Californian band Hoobastank is set to return to SEA this month for two performances in Indonesia. The band’s last shows were in Indonesia and Singapore in December 2009 to promote their album For(n)ever. Fans can catch Doug and the band at the following concerts:

UPDATE (28/11): Date in Bali has been confirmed, details below!

The boys will be back in SEA, playing in Singapore this New Year’s Eve! A date for Bali is supposedly in the works, we’ll be keeping you updated on that. Meanwhile, this is the band’s first proper show in the region to promote their January release, For(n)ever. Concert details as follows:

MTV World Stage makes its inaugural appearance in Southeast Asia this year with Malaysia playing host to this event. It is expected to be an event music fans would not want to miss with some big names on the line up! Details are as follows:
